After the results from the knee MRI came back, Grandma Meinhart still stuck around Michigan for another week or so to make sure I was “back on my feet.” During the visit, we were able to make a trip to the blueberry patch, spend lots of time in the garden, take numerous dips in the pool, visit with Sarah and help with some wedding planning, and in general just have lots of fun. We love having Grandma around, or any other visitors for that matter (hint, hint).
Marie also got her first lesson in using chopsticks (from Jon of course). She showed pretty good patience and determination at first, but ultimately started using her fingers, I think.
